Private Label Printer Technology
Positive ID Labels work with you from the outset of your project and we will grow with you. We offer some of the most competitive prices on digital labels in the UK. We make digital labels using UV inkjet printing technology or water-based or electrostatic dry-toner technology. Our digital fleet allows you to build your business by taking advantage of our private label printer offering.
With digital, there is no need for printing plates so there are no plate tooling charges. Digital UV inkjet provides vibrant colour that is highly resistant to corrosion or discolouring – ideal for chemical labels and food labels, and allowing the product to ‘pop’ on the shelf, driving sales and profits.
We have one digital press that uses lasers to cut your labels from the stock material. We will cut virtually any shape for you in-line during the one-step manufacturing process.
Unlike most of our competitors, Positive ID produces labels in one seamless operation. This needs minimal setup time on each job too. Our digital technology means we do not have to buy cutting tools, saving you money, nor do we have to spend time setting physical tools up on the machinery.
If you need larger runs of labels, we have flexographic printing capability with foiling, varnishing and laminating options. Flexographic printing requires tooling and printing plates. If you’re are moving from another supplier, enquire about us making a contribution to the cost of tooling for you.

Printing Materials
As a label supplier, we pride ourselves on our ability to supply our customers with whatever they want. White Label Printing materials include papers and plastics.
Plastics are supplied in clear, white or silver face. Silver materials overprinted with transparent ink will create a metallic finish in any colour. Combined with a white ink design, faux-foiling effects can be achieved at a fration of the cost – ideal for start-ups.
Adhesives are available in a range of strengths: Removable, permanent, freezer grade (works at low temperatures) and so-called tyre adhesives or hi-tack.
All digital labels and to a lesser extent flexographic labels have a glossy sheen to them. A matt varnish finish can enhance the panache of your labels and add real kudos to the look and feel of your product.
If you need a smarter finish from us as your private label printer, higher quality label finishes are available and allow you to charge more and boost your profits with little or no effort. It is well known and simple psychological fact that the labelsells the product!
