Label Direct Labelling Software

Label Direct is a comprehensive labelling software that works perfectly with the TSC desktop and industrial printers we supply.

The software is easy to use and allows users to design their labels and print using their windows computer connected to their TSC printer.

This software allows users to design a template label and then link to a database. The database can be manually prepared or, for food businesses specifically, built using our Nutridata ingredient, allergen and nutrition data software. The database holds the individual product variations you need to label on each row.

This solution is reliable, robust and easy to maintain – ideal for food and product businesses alike, or B2C businesses.

EnLabel Labelling Software

EnLabel is a powerful labelling software capable of printing rich and complex label designs. The big brother of Label Direct, EnLabel software works with any printer connected to your computer.

In operation, the software is very similar to Label Direct. You design your labels in a Windows “what you see is what you get” (WYSIWYG) software environment.

Like Label Direct, you can design a template label and then connect to a database, meaning you can populate label designs quickly and easily and in volume.

EnLabel is capable of emboldening, italicising and underlining allergens in QUID ingredient lists in conjuntion with Nutridata.

This solution is reliable, robust and easy to maintain – ideal for food and product businesses alike, or B2C businesses.

Bartender Labelling Software

Bartender Lite is a basic labelling program suitable for designing labels one by one.

BarTender Lite does not benefit from database connectivity unless upgrading from the free version.

Upgrading is considerably more expensive and complex than using Label Direct or EnLabel alternatives. Having said that, if the solution is ideal for your needs, the incresed price can deliver considerable benefit for the investment.

The software interface is similar to alternatives and is a WYSISYG type software.

For food labelling solutions, Bartender is not integrated with the systems Positive ID Labelling has developed.

We do not offer free technical support with Bartender software due to technical capability restrictions.

Nutridata

Nutridata a is a food, ingredient and nutrition data management solution – sounds like a mouthful!

Nutridata is part of a suite of labelling solutions in our product range that allows food businesses to manage their product labelling declarations. These requirements are set out in EUFIC regulations and Natasha’s Law regulations.

The critical issue being to declare allergens accurately and clearly within ingredient listing as per Natasha’s Law.

Food labelling regulations for larger businesses include nutritional information which can be complex and challenging to manager. Nutridata Professional addition allows users to manage nutrition declarations for their food products with ease.

Allergens are highlighted in ingredient listing and ingredients are set out in QUID order, as per regulatory requirements.

Nutridata allows food businesses to amend ingredients and other technical values in their ‘pantry’ and then cascade the changes throughout their product range in a matter of minutes, rather than hours.

Nutridata works with All labelling solutions software above and is supported fully with out Label Direct, EnLabel and Label Data products as an integrated labelling solution for food businesses.

LabelData

LabelData is part of our food labelling solutions suite working in conjunction with Label Direct and Nutridata. It allows end users to print their labels over a wireless network via an Android tablet.

The software was developed as a solution to Natasha’s Law for multi-site food businesses such as bakeries and food outlets.

The problem is that multiple sites need their labels updating from time to time and the old methods of exchanging label programs with new data is a physical process requiring memory cards to be exchanged on physical printers.

LabelData solves this problem by centralising the label data on the internet and calling it remotely at “print time”. This means the central label design can be updated as a single event and the next call for the data will be the updated version of that data. Specifically:

• Label content can be updated in Nutridata
• Label content can be regenerated using Label Direct
• New label content is uploaded to the central distributon point
• All remote sites can only now print the new, updated, accurate labels

Label Printers & Applicators

Positive ID Labels partner with TSC Auto ID to provide some of the most reliable, cost effective and easy to use label printers available in the market. These printers have been tried and tested with several hundred of our customers over the last decade and deliver time and time again.

An integral part of the labelling solutions we offer, TSC printers come in desktop and industrial models. Desktop thermal label printer models have a small foot print and are suited to lower duty cycles of one to five thousand labels per day. Industrial thermal label printers have a larger footprint and are capable of maintaining very high duty cycles with continuous printing – 50,000 labels per day is not inconceivable.

All the printers we supply work in conjunction with Label Direct and EnLabel software along with our in-house solutions for food businesses mentioned above – Nutridata and LabelData.

Label Applicators

Positive ID Labelling offer a range of label applicators from TOWA, ideal for sticking your pre-printed labels to products with speed and efficiency. Similar in function to a pricing or labelling gun, users squeese the handle and lever to eject a label ready for application to a product surface.

1 line pricing guns offer easy on-demand labelling solutions for simple tasks like price marking or date coding. We offer a range of products for these solutions along with one line labels, off-the shelf or pre-printed to your unique requirements.

2 line labelling guns are perfect for marking products with batch codes, productions dates, pricing and other specific data to meet your needs. If you need high volume price and code marking, these labelling guns offer great value and speed for an efficient solution.

3 line labelling guns offer a comprehensive on-demand labelling solutions using the larger 3 line labels measuring 29mm x 28mm. With up to 3 lines of 10 digits, labels can be pre-printed to identify multiple coded data in the simple press and release of a labelling gun.

Numbellers & Sequential Labelling Guns

We offer numbellers for quick and efficient sequential labelling of goods and products. Numbellers are similar to labelling guns but the print head has a counter system that ratchets up the number on the print head with every action to apply a label. The count can include prefixed number or letters depending on the banding in the numbeller.
