GRE Tyre Labels in a flash

We pride ourselves on giving great service to our fantastic customers. A case in point is GRE Solvents who needed some tyre labels in a hurry for their Schrader Tyre Bead product.

GRE had run short on a particular type of label and had an order to fulfil. Production was not a problem until they went to the label store and discovered they had run short. A quick call to us and we set the wheels in motion.

A design was sent over that afternoon and artwork was prepared in house to make the files print ready. We sent those back to the customer and they confirmed the design was accurate. The files were then sent with the job sheet to the digital room for production.

Tyre Labels are made on our digital press

Being a digital job, there is no need for printing plates to be made. Nor is there any need for a cutter to be bought. This means the time to finished product is greatly reduced. Our digital equipment not only prints the files using bubble jet technology with UV cured inks, it also has laser die cutting in-line. This means we merely draw the shape of the label and the lasers cut the substrate as far as the liner. The waste matrix is lifted off and the labels are wound ready for delivery. Our digital operator Brandon does not need to get tied up with inks or washing down, nor setting tools, a few clicks on the computer and hey presto! Finished labels are made in one production sequence in a matter of minutes. We got the job out the same day and they were with the customer the following morning. We received a delightful email back from the customer:

Good afternoon Helen, I would like to thank both you and the team for producing the Schrader labels so promptly for us, it was much appreciated, it allowed us to continue to supply our Customer to meet their deadline. Please pass on our thanks to all concerned. Best regards, Teresa

We really do pride ourselves on our service and we were thrilled that our work on the tyre labels received a positive response from GRE. Find out more about our self-adhesive labels by looking at the full range here.
