Here at Positive ID, we are always searching for ways to improve production and the overall experience for the customer. We recently upgraded our delivery process, moving to DPD to improve the reliability and handling of our finished goods. We also purchased a new Jetrion 4900 digital printer.
The Jetrion 4900 digital printer is a serious improvement on our previous Jetrion 4850. The Jetrion 4900 boasts 4 colour printing with the capability of white ink, printing up to 720dpi. The print engine also benefits from a front and rear gap sensor allowing us to print labels that require multiple passes through the machine.
The printer arrived in November 2015 and will enable us to laser cut any shape label. There are four major benefits as a result of the technological advances incorporated into the Jetrion 4900 digital printer.:

Last year Freezeland Ltd, a London based retailer of frozen products, contacted us regarding their labelling. Here at Positive ID we are proud to announce that we completely revamped their labelling process. We now supply them with 70,000 labels a year for them to use on their desktop printer system.

Orexis Fresh Foods Ltd is a family run Food Manufacturing Company specializing in ethnic dips, Mexican dips, luxury salads and sandwich fillings. Orexis Ltd approached Positive ID for a simple cost effective way to apply a “Best Before” and “Batch Number” to a range of their products.
