New label printing machinery rings in the improvements! Here at Positive ID Labels we are always looking for different ways to speed up the process of; ordering labels to delivery, so we can fulfil our clients’ demands more quickly.
Recently we have invested heavily in new label printing machinery which will allow us to do exactly that; but also to produce an even better quality label.
The most recent investment is an eight colour ‘Nilpeter FA3300S’. Using the latest UV inks from Pulse, this allows us to print vibrant colourful labels at an increased rate and quality.
For those of you who don’t know; ‘The Nilpeter FA-3300’ features a flexo label press, which produces a dramatically different, state-of-the art flexo print unit, open-view design.
With its cantilevered construction, the FA-3300 allows much easier viewing, and access to the web during printing. The innovative design allows print cylinder assemblies to be prepared in advance for faster make ready times.
And the clear, uncluttered and compact design provides easy access to plate, ductor and anilox rolls; for quicker, ‘make-readies’ and improved visibility while printing.
How this works is that the FA-3300’s open-view construction allows print cylinders to be lifted vertically for loading and unloading; therefore achieving a faster make ready.
Format blocks are located at each end of the print cylinder assembly, allowing accurate positioning of the plate for printing at the moment it is placed in the press.
This allows entire print cylinder assemblies for the next job to be prepared off-line (complete with mounted plates) and then easily installed at job change-over time.
This investment in new label printing machinery therefore not only prints even finer quality, bespoke Labels; but at a much increased rate!
