A major factor in pricing is the size and quantity of the labels you order as this affects the amount of material we use. We can make labels from a few millimetres up to 330mm wide and over 300mm long. We can print your labels on a range of materials such as plastics or paper-based materials and in a range of base colours and finishes. If you need high volumes, the unit price for your Makeup Labels will be less so buy as many as you can to reduce unit costs!
Whether you need large or small volumes, we can make your Makeup Labels to the highest standards at competitive prices. We have invested over £600,000 in the last two years in new printing equipment to deliver the best quality labels at low prices. Let us advise you of the best printing method based on costing your job on volume and specification (that is why we cannot sell directly through the website).
Digitally made Labels
We have a Jetrion 4900 digital printing press capable of making full colour Makeup Labels without the need for printing plates or cutters. Digital printing is little different from using a computer and desktop printer – just bigger, better and faster. As an industrial grade printer should be!
Our Jetrion 4900 digital press prints at the equivalent of an A4 page per second and has a laser die cutting station to cut the label shape. This uses high power lasers to cut the label shape from our feed stock material – the cut is only made through the face material – it doesn’t cut the backing paper and it is pretty amazing. Check out the video of how it works here!
The main benefit of this is no delays in tooling and we can cut labels to any shape. The other benefit is we make labels in-line in one set of connected processes. Raw feed stck on one end and finished labels on rolls out the other! There is no restriction on label lengths or gaps as would be the case with rotary cutting equipment. Unlike flexo, digital also means no costs incurred if you want to change your label designs or shape between orders.
Flexographically printed Labels
If you require higher volumes of labels, you can take advantage of our flexographic printing presses. Simple label designs can be completed on our Rotopress 6 colour water based press. If you require a more comprehensive, photo-like finish for your labels, our new MPS 8 colour UV printing press is ideal. This MPS press can make high volume jobs in no time as it can run wide web material at over 100 metres per minute!
