We can manufacture on a range of materials including plastics and papers. Plastics offer high durability and resistance and can meet BS5609 specification if necessary.

We also offer a range of adhesives. With the exception of high tack adhesive which relies on organic latex mixed with volatile solvents, adhesive are made from PVA glue at different concentrations. The higher the concentration, the higher the ‘tack’ or ‘grab’. PVA adhesive is fully biodegradable.

Flexographically Printed Labels

We can produce large volumes of chemical labels using our MPS EB370 8 colour flexographic printing press, perfectly tuned to do high volume runs of up to or over a million labels at exceptional quality. Our flexographic printing presses use UV inks and can print on plasticised materials to ensure durability and longevity in virtually any environment.

Adhesives are available in a range of grades from Removable, Permanent, Freezer grade and high tack – choose what works best for your chemical label application and needs.

The flexographic printing process requires printing plates to be made once you have approved your artwork. Once you have approved your artwork we will send it to our plate manufacturer for processing. These will be returned to us within 2 days.

If your label design requires a new cutter we will order that at the same time and start your production run immediately.

Digitally Printed Chemical Labels

Where lower volumes are more appropriate, we can manufacture labels using our Screen or Jetrion digital printing presss. The digital printing press is completely computerised and artwork can be sent to print immediately upon approval. It is very much like your desktop printer – just a lot bigger and faster and uses continuous rolls of material rather than sheets.

There is no delay for cutters or printing plates and you can exploit its full-colour capabilities with striking designs. Digital bubble jet technology means we can produce multiple designs of chemical label without any printing plates.

Coupled with this, your chemical labels can be cut using the in-line digital laser cutting equipment. This uses lasers to burn through the label face down to the liner material. We can also include perforations and inset or orphan labels. All we need to do is draw the shape and the lasers will cut it exactly as specified!
