Bespoke Sandwich Lables on the Quick

Do you need bespoke sandwich labels on the quick? Here at Positive ID Labels we are always up for taking on an order to help out any customer, however challenging it may seem!

Recently we received one order which would have to turn around very quickly!

MONDAY

We were contacted late afternoon by a sandwich making company, with an enquiry into a printer and label order for bespoke sandwich labels. The client only had a vague idea of label size and label design and had no previous bespoke sandwich label experience.

The issue was that the company had no computer to connect to the printer to, and they required the order to be delivered ready for production runs on the Friday morning of the same week!

TUESDAY

We showed the clients a range of our “sandwich Labelling packages”, working with the client as we tried to identify the right package for them.

We then discussed different options that we have to offer here at PID to help with the whole printing package and identified a package of a printer a notebook and software, which we would set up for him before despatch.

We then looked at the many hundreds of cutters we have in stock and identified one that would fit the job; once we had a size we helped design his bespoke sandwich labels, which ended up a 75 x 102mm, 3-colour label with the client’s corporate logo incorporated.

WEDNESDAY

We proofed the label to the client which was greeted very positively. We then worked together with the client who advised some adjustment. We re-proofed the label design which was greeted with optimism; so we sent the artwork off to the plate makers.

THURSDAY

En route to work early in the morning, one of our staff drove to the plate makers to pick up the newly created plates. They were then delivered to our production team who were already briefed and ready to go. The labels were made that very same day, and the whole system; labels, notebook, software and printer were all ready for dispatch that same afternoon.

FRIDAY

The package was delivered before 10 AM Friday morning and the client was producing labels shortly after.
