Positive ID Labels was established in 1987 with the aim of providing bespoke printed labelling solutions to exceed customer expectations. Since then Positive ID Labels has increased turnover and staff annually and now expanded to over 21 staff and take up new larger premises Melbourne, South Derbyshire. The company was bought out by the management team in August 2022.
We manufacture “reel to reel” labels supplied on rolls (or sheet) for industry and are happy to supply label quantities from a few thousands to many millions. We can produce plain labels efficiently on our Daco plain label converters as well as fully customised printed labels in any shape, size or quantity on our range of full colour printing presses and finishing equipment.
In the last few years we have invested over £500,000 in new equipment, including a Screen UV inkjet digital press, Xeikon dry toner digital press and Jetrion 4900 UV inkjet digital press with laser die cutting caability. This means we can offer full colour digitally printed labels to our customers. The digital printing press means there is no need for printing plates as the ink is applied to the labels using inkjet or dry toner technology. The Jetrion also boasts a laser die cutting station. This means we can cut your labels to any shape or size without the need for cutter tooling. This means the time from approval to press is cut from an average of three days (waiting for plates and cutters) to zero!
