Food labelling regulations are very specific; every food label must:
not be misleading
be accurate, clear and easy to understand
not suggest that the food prevents, treats or cures a human disease
have indelible information
Certain information must be included on all food labelling:
The name of the food
a list of ingredients
information on allergens
the quantity of certain ingredients or categories of ingredients
the net quantity
the appropriate date mark
any special storage conditions and/or conditions of use
a suitable name and address;
particulars of the country of origin or place of provenence (when specifically required by Article 26)
instructions for use (if necessary)
for alcoholic beverages with more than 1.2% alcohol, the alcoholic strength
a nutrition declaration
Food Labelling Regulations require extra food labelling information is required in specific circumstances:

Last year Freezeland Ltd, a London based retailer of frozen products, contacted us regarding their labelling.
