Label of the Year Award – UK Packaging Awards
On the 13th November 2014 the label of the year was announced at the UK Packaging Awards at an event at the London Hilton. The event was hosted by comedian Andy Parsons and attracted more than 700 people from all across the industry.
This years award was won by Coveris for their Faith in Nature collection of digitally printed labels. Other entries in the Label of the Year category came from Anglia Labels (Maxi Nutrition Promax Chocolate 960g entry), Asda (Extra Special Sausages entry), Forza Supplements (Raspberry K2 entry) and Kingsland (Shorn Pinot Noir entry). Asda’s Extra Special Sausages slideable label was also highly commended.
Coveris’ label was described as “A very well created label and a good example of what digital print can do.” by one of the events judges. Coveris produced the labels for Faith in Nature’s range of ethical hair and skin care products and the customer was delighted with the results commenting that they were “stunning”.

Last year Freezeland Ltd, a London based retailer of frozen products, contacted us regarding their labelling. Here at Positive ID we are proud to announce that we completely revamped their labelling process. We now supply them with 70,000 labels a year for them to use on their desktop printer system.

Orexis Fresh Foods Ltd is a family run Food Manufacturing Company specializing in ethnic dips, Mexican dips, luxury salads and sandwich fillings. Orexis Ltd approached Positive ID for a simple cost effective way to apply a “Best Before” and “Batch Number” to a range of their products.
